1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using IMEI Cloud Platform ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our IMEI device registration and verification platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Device Registration & IMEI Verification

Our Service allows you to register devices and verify IMEI numbers. You agree that:

  • You will only register devices that you legally own or have authorization to register
  • All information provided about devices must be accurate and truthful
  • You will not use the Service to register stolen or fraudulently obtained devices
  • IMEI verification results are provided "as is" and should not be the sole basis for purchase decisions
  • We are not responsible for any losses resulting from device purchases or transactions
4. NIN Verification (Nigeria)

For Nigerian users, National Identification Number (NIN) verification is required for device registration. By providing your NIN, you:

  • Confirm that the NIN provided is your own or you have legal authorization to use it
  • Authorize us to verify your NIN with relevant government authorities
  • Agree to the collection and processing of NIN data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Understand that providing false NIN information is a criminal offense under Nigerian law
5. Reporting Lost or Stolen Devices

When reporting a device as lost or stolen, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the incident
  • Not make false reports or abuse the reporting system
  • Cooperate with law enforcement if they contact you regarding your report
  • Update the status if the device is recovered

We reserve the right to share reported device information with law enforcement agencies and telecom operators as required by law.

6. Agent Accounts

Agent accounts are intended for businesses and retailers. Agents agree to:

  • Maintain valid business registration documents
  • Comply with all applicable business and consumer protection laws
  • Obtain proper consent before registering devices on behalf of customers
  • Maintain accurate customer records as required by law
  • Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Register stolen, counterfeit, or fraudulently obtained devices
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collect or harvest user information without consent
8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by IMEI Cloud Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written permission.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and implement appropriate security measures to protect your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of IMEI verification data
  • We are not responsible for any damages resulting from use of the Service
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months
11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IMEI Cloud Platform and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any false or fraudulent information you provide
12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies
  • Extended period of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the new Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending email notification to registered users (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
